1. What format will my ad be finished in?

We create the ad using a Mac but the finished file will be compatible with both PC and Mac.

2. How do I get the final artwork?

We will email you the final ad as a high resolution PDF. This format is universal, and every printer should accept a PDF. In the event that they don't we will send native files or a JPEG of the ad. We can also overnight a CD to a pub or to you for a small additional charge. We will do whatever it takes to get it to the right person exactly when they need it.

3. What is a PDF?

Invented by Adobe Systems and perfected over 15 years, Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) lets you capture and view robust information—from any application, on any computer system—and share it with anyone around the world. To view a file in PDF format, you need Adobe Reader, a free application distributed by Adobe Systems. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

4. Do I own the final ad, artwork?

Ownership of the final ad is yours, and ownership rights transfer to you upon delivery. Only the approved ad, not the concepts you did not chose, is authorized for ownership rights. Photography artwork used by Ad Shoppe, unless supplied by client, generally comes from stock houses and are owned by the respected stock company or photographer. Ad Shoppe also offers some photography services. If we shoot something for you, you own the shot. Please read more on Photography.

5. What if I need to resize or make changes to an ad you created?

Ad Shoppe charges a flat fee of $75 to resize an ad or to make changes to an ad. Changes include but are not limited to: photography change, revised copy, etc. Major redesign will involve a quote.

6. Ok. I just bought a package. Now what?

Once Ad Shoppe receives your order, we put a team on it. Someone from the team will call to discuss the project. We will discuss things like your logo, what colors you like, typefaces, artwork and of course the reason for the ad. You will also need to send any camera-ready logos, photos, written copy (unless we are writing it), etc. Once we have a firm understanding of what you want, we go to work designing your ad.

7. What if I like more than one ad design? Can I buy more than one design?

Sure. It happens all the time. We simply charge you 50% of the chosen package price. For example, if you chose Pro Package 2 at $499, each additional ad would cost $249.50.

8. What if I need an ad, like tomorrow?

We know all about tight deadlines. Call us and we will do everything to accommodate you.

9. What exactly is a campaign?

A print advertising campaign is a series of ads that share a single idea and theme. The campaign themes are usually developed with the intention of being used for a substantial period (like over the course of a year).

Here's an example: Let's say you sell a teeth-brightening service. Your campaign theme might be "the whitest of white teeth". So the ads will focus on your teeth getting extraordinarily white. One ad might be just an image of a picture frame but the picture inside is beaming white and you can't see the person in the pic because of the glare off the extra white teeth. You could do another ad in the campaign showing a before shot where you clearly see the person, and an after shot where again the glare is so strong, you can't make out the person in the pic.
